i read in a paper dat Walsh codes are preferred over other kinds of codes in cdma becoz of its orthogonal property...

does it mean dat other codes lik pn sequences, gold seq aren't used in cdma..???

first of all....... DONT USE SMS SHORT FORMS IN THIS FORUM AS IT IS READ BY MANY ACROSS THE WORLD, AND FIND IT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND....

ok..i didn't know it.. will type properly from now on...
once the walsh code sequence or the pn sequence is generated how do we encode the data bits..?? if the data is 101 and say the sequence is 11001100 , are we multiplying it..??
if yes how can i implement it using vhdl..?? should i just code it for a multiplier which will in turn have adders in it..?
