Wakeup on LAN - know how to use this feature?

Wakeup on LAN

I have a compaq deskpro PIII-500 with Compaq NC3161 Fast Ethernet with Wake on LAN feature. I want to know how to use this feature. I heard of some utility that is used to send a "magic packet" to the NIC to turn on the PC from a complete shutdown. Can someone point to such a utility.
