VPI file compatibility issues with the new iverilog version

iverilog VPI problem

I have a VPI file that was working with an old version of iverilog . with the lastest release it won't work ..vvp gives me :

get 43 not suported by vpiStringConst
file cpi_const.cc line 55

i don't have that file and don't have any sources for this VPI that implements windows comunication pipes
like
$init_pipe
$read_para
$read_pipe
$write_pipe

I really need some light here ...
