Has anyone used APLUS IC for OTP voice recording?
I am currently working on a project with their IC, and I'm finding it very difficult to understand their datasheet.
If anyone has experience with them I would really appriciate the help.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for replying. I actually got an answer from the distributor to my question, but I'll share it anyway- so it will be out there for other people: these otp voice ICs can activate voice playback by spi/i2c/ or by simple button pressing.
My question was how do you configure the method of playback, it turns out you have to configure it by the external programmer, which also burns the OTP memory to your voice files.
Hi udi
Voice OTP ICs require the DPM file which is to be generated from the voice file which should be mono wav file(this can be edited and resized with suitable auto editor). it should be compiled through their software. And you can load 16 Nos voice segment in one OTP and the segments can be playback by individually or one by one continuously.
while compiling the audio files into DPM file you should select the options according to your hardware.

Do I also control the volume settings when programming the IC? from your expirience, if I need to drive a small toy speaker (something similar to a doll saying a word or something...), how should I configure it in your experience?
