Voice recording and PlayBack

Hi,

Can anyone Provide me a Circuit for Voice recording (min 10 Sec's limit) and Playing the same repeatedly,
like the one used in Musical Greeting Cards, am sure they dont use ADC's and Controllers in it.
ISD1400 series IC, ARP9301 or APR9600 are not generally available
help is deeply appreciated.
