Dear everybody.

Can anyone help me to solve the quite simple problem. I want to write a program to control the CD-ROM from a remote desktop.

(1) If i input a number say '1' : The CD-ROm drive will automatically eject.

(2) Else if i input '0': The CD-ROM drive will automatically close.

I think the above problem is solvable especially with such an open source OS like Linux, and by far Windows has provide Microsoft Visual Studio. But really i could not control the Linux as well as Visual Studio available headers since i'm quite new bee in the Remote Control designing field. Can any experience one guide me how to perform this task, most probably plz tell mme which header i need to use. Thanks in advance.
