Virtual Modem (pstn modem emulator) needed

Hello,

I'm developing a VB software applications witch will be able to connect to a hardware data adquisition using a pstn telephone line to download the collected data.

In order to debug the application, it would be useful to emulate a standard hates modem, does anybody know a free virtual modem?

If it creates two modems in the same pc it would be fine, and if it uses the lan to comunicate two differents pc (emulating standad modems in each pd) it would be ok too.

I use a virtual serial port like:

Eterlogic - VSPE: tool for serial ports emulation

Run that, then open up a terminal emulator like:

Terminal Software

Once the two are connected, I can test the concept. Then write another VB program to talk on the virtual port and act as a simulator.
