Try emacs!!
It not only for software programming.
It also can be your verilog editor.
It can invoke CVS and verilog compiler after you edit your code.

Emacs is not easy to use.

I used source insight for C and C++ programming. but is does not support verilog.

I hope I can find a tool as powerful as Source Insight and support Verilog

Why dont u get the evaluation version of ISE Foundation Series from Xilinx Website.........its simply awesome and it will solve all ur project handling problems.
