Verifying data burnt onto microcontroller

Hi All,

Could somebody tellme how to verify the data burnt onto 89s51 ..i am using uc flash ...

when i burn the program after loading the hex file it gives sucessfuly burnt message ..
but when i do verify program i see nothing .

what programmer (software & hardware) that you are using?
when you using code protecting feature on microcontroller, you see 0`s or garbled data when you are verify it.

well when microcontroller behave like you programmed it, then nothing to worry about.
 

Most of S51 programmers allow you to check/uncheck lock-bits – 3 of them ..
See S51 data sheet to find out which bit does what ..

Cutting long story short, once they are programmed any further attempts of reading or verifying program memory are prohibited ..
