vcsel driver

Hi Everyone,

I would like to put together a VCSEL Driver that can accept LVDS signaling. The VCSEL is a 850 nm with a bias condition of -1.6 V.

I looked at a few companies that provide this: Vitesse, GigOptix, Maxium, etc.

Since I am fairly new to all of this I would like to see if anyone can help me with teh actual application.

The supply voltages are 2.5 V but I am open to using 3.3 V.

Does anyone know of a quick schematic, reading materials, or any ideas they can offer to help with me with this. Thank you.

Feel free to ask me questions.

EDIT: Low forward current of 4mA to 8mA.
