ncsim is the best

Re: VCS, NC-Verilog and Modelsim, which is the best simulato

NC verilog is best to use . Speed & performance point of view VCS might've slight upper hand in high density gate level Simulation.

Model sim is slightly low in performance / Speed compared to NC-verilog , VCS . One important feature in Modelsim SE is , it has built in Code coverage analysis & can be run in LINUX / Windows platform. Cost wise Model sim is better .
