VB program error: run time error 429

I have made a project in visual basic and i have also created .exe file of the project. but when I run the exe file it doesn't run and shows error message "Run time error 429. Active x component can't creat object"
how can I overcome this problem? pl.help

was ur project running before creating exe file?? what procedure r u using for creating exe file??

the program was working in vb and the exe file was also working in windows 98.
but since i have switched to windows xp the said .exe file is giving the said error.
