how to use a variable resistor in proteus ? i does not allow me to change the resistance value during simulation... please help..

When You Search Component...
Type

"POT-HG"

This Will Surely Help You

arunsharma0731 has already told you what to select.

Just remember that in Proteus, when you want to simulate a component, you should select an "ACTIVE" component (written under the LIBRARY column). POT-HG is the only active variable resistor that allows you to change the resistance during simulation run-time.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

You can change the value of the variable resistor by dragging the arrow leg of the resistor.
