Hi,
I have been downloading a software via Utorrent. After downloading, I scanned the downloaded file for phishing viruses
But after downloading the first file, I tried to download another file. This time the software says a port is closed and I need to open it so that I can download it. It recommends me to run a software available at www.portforward.com
So, my question is that Is it safe to run that software? Am I compromising security of the contents in my PC?
By the way I have DSL connection, so I do not a personal router, it would be available with the ISP.
