Hello,

Can any one help me in knowing how to access the PC motherboard I/O.

Thanks

best regards

7 years ago, people from AB was talking about PLC design on PC platform. I am not sure what's the result.

Sounds like to me a lot like the NI labview design though.

hi

I think using a PC Motherboard for any project is a madness. Because the same function can be done by any Microcontroller.

regards

I talked with the AB engineer in the year of 2000 about the PC based PLC concern, they seemed like to sell more PLC software licenses instead of hardware+software. However I didn't see that concept work out.

On the other hand, the NI-LABview seems got a good market share and good profit.
