i am doing my project in verilog. I have been asked to take an image, obtain the pixel values and give it as input to the verilog code. I was told to check out labview. Is this possible? is labview compatible with xilinx? if not, is there any other software that can be used?

There's plenty of LabVIEW FPGA programmers who are willing to provide you with advice on our National Instruments Support Forums. We've already created a new post for you - Using LABVIEW for FPGA - NI Discussion Forums
