Hey there,
One aspect of my project involves hand gesture recognition. In this part, I'd have to use an Neon LED thimble(Red,Green or Blue) for ease of processing. I just wanted to know if I could use HMM for identifying the trace of the path. (Against symbols such as a 'circle', 'straight line' etc.). I'm using these motions to remotely control machines, so having an algorithm that traces the LED path and makes a decision would allow me to use a wide variety of gestures.
I'll be using the following mode of input so as to help you understand what I'll be doing.
