I'm going to do a WiMAX transceiver
and i decide to use the FFT as a component from the Xilinx core generator but i have some problem to define the scaling schedule suitable for each stage.

could any one help me in this matter?

can you be more specific in your question..i have experience modelling fft/ifft for wimax transciever ... implemented both with scaling and without scaling

I assume that the topic is the scaling or the numerical word length or truncation of each butterfly stage.

The only way is to assign in the matlab or C++ verification a variable wordlength and check the S/N contribution.

I have read some year ago that clipping and truncation should contribute about equal to get an optimum scaling and wordlenght.
