using esd wrist band

can i connect the esd wrist band earth terminal to esd mate, the esd mate is already connected to earth ground.

Hi,

It is better than no connection.

But a 1MOhms resistor from wrist band directely to earth gnd is better.

If you connect the wrist band to the mat's ground connection it will be good.
