I have seen this question but no one posted any replies. Has anyone used the 8Mb Disk On Chip from m-systems with PIC16F877 ???
Any replies using 8051 are also welcome.
 

I'm sorry but that is not possible, you need the internal register structure to do that.

I tried it some time ago, and i also contacted m-sys for help, but they told me that the driver is proprietary and the internal register structure is confidential.

I have ever read something like this from Circuit cellar for a long time, sir. If you interest. May be you can foud it from Circuit cellar's index.
