Hello all,
I have been using CST for the past few days to design a PIFA antenna with circular patches, circular substrate
I am doing stacking, by : ground plane -substrate 1- lower patch- substrate 2- upper patch- superstrate.
However, I face this issue (see attached). I seriously, don't know which option to choose from and which is the right one for stacking.

Also for shorting pin, I face the shape intersection as it will be between lower patch and ground.. so I click add.. similarly for coaxial feed :thinker:
Hope that's correct.

Please help.
Thank you.

Hello,

No worries, although both components are made by same material you can choose none.

i have some issues with stacking. i have different material types. so to layer an antenna if i choose insert then the components are vanishing. then by undo, the shape gets inserted. what should i do. should i again and again insert and undo or choose none. please reply asap.
