Hi all,

This is my first time posting here, so apologies if I sound green and I'm not really sure this is the right forum so feel free to point the appropriate one. I'm intending to use a Crydom MCX240D5, which is NO, but I will need to use it in NC mode by keeping the control input high most of the time. This is to interface a microcontroller to a 3 phase contactor array.

Will this in any way possibly cause any damage to the SSR? Reason being that the one SSR that fit my requirements perfectly only seems to come in NO.

Thanks in advance,
Keith

Re: Using a NO SSR as NC

That's what I thought too, just wanted a second opinion. I should be well within the limits of the current limitations.

Thanks!
