Hi guys ........long time no see you!

I have a design that requires a USB interface but interfaces to a PC parallel port devices ..So is a usb -> PC parallel port .I need source code of the drivers for XP as well as a suitable USB 2.0 device that will work with .

On the PC side the USB device must be seen as a LPT x device

Any ideas??>/

Take a look at this USB-to-Parallel converter:

GREAT! ..just great !!
You know i'm so emotional ...but my wife likes it!!!!

ok can we discuss on it ... it seems that the solution to get around the problem of the real time EMULATION is by using some type pf BITBANG mode on the HI Speed USB device .. I know that is not possible on FTDI devices .. because trasferts are dependent on a 1 millisecond timer WAY TOO long .
the author of the project ABOVE uses in his last approach a cypress FTX2 .But he doesn'ts gives any numbers on asynchonous trasnferts!
