USB/RS232 switch

Hi

In a measuring device I need to switch between either RS232 or USB(with adapter), there is a DB25 at the PCB.So what I need is a DB25->DB25 or USB, is this possible to do with a mechanical switch or is it better to use a 2x8:1 MUX? Any advice is welcome
I have seens some muxes at M@xim perhaps this is the way to go.

Thanks in advance
