USB protocol analyzer?

Hello all,

First, thank God elektroda alive again. Does software only usb protocol analyzer is enough? Is there any hardware usb protocol analyzer project in the net ? Does anyone have idea how to build one?

there is interresting article i have found today .
The usb interface to PC was done based on overclocked AVR and no interfacec chip was used except avr itself .
