USB interface with 4 button control

I want to make device like 4 button will be there connected with controller with PC via USB port.
Pressed button info will goto PC via USB and all button will locked until it get release code from PC via USB.

Please help any one or guide me to make this.
I need it very badly.

any microcontroller with a USB device interface would probably support a simple project such as this, e.g.

will you be writing the PC software? if so which language C++, C#, VB.NET, etc and which protocol, e.g. HID, WinUSB, etc

look for example code for both the micro firmware and host PC software

are you looking to build you own PCB or use an off the shelf development board?

Dear,

Yes I am trying to writing PC software in VB 6 but I don't know to access USB from VB
after finalisation I will go for PCB manufacturing (Vendor)
Initially I will use self development board for this but I can't decide which controller to be used here.
