I’m using ModelSim 6.1 PE+ Node-locked license with a USB hardware key. It worked fine on a couple of different computers (WinXP SP2). I got a new computer this week and it’s not working on it. The flexlm (Aladdin drive) fails to load the license file is says. The guys at ModelSim say SP2 has a lot of problems. Did anyone else have this problem?

when you say USB harware key .Do you mean a USB -> ethernet adaptor ??
USB to what ? USB is a BUS .

Re: USB Hardware Key

usd dongel is also being used for modelsim license validation.
have you tested the license server link to modelsim?
you can use flexlm diagnostic tools for this job.
