msp430 usb driver

Hey all,
I have the requirement to write USB driver for MSP 430 microcontroller(MSP 430 F1612 or MSP 430 F169). I am familiar with the USb specifications.
It would be helpful if you anyone could

1. Guide me about how i can start with drivers on windows platform.

2. However my ultimate goal being able to write drivers on the Linux platform. Hence i would appreciate leads in this regard as well.
