hi all, I urgently need a small, non-volatile memory (~10KB is already sufficient) that can interface with both PC and microcontroller. This memory suppose to store some permanent (non-volatile) data for the microcontroller. I would like to use something that is common and less expensive.

I was planning to use a SPI flash memory, but it seems like interfacing SPI with PC is not common. On the other hand, SD card, that used SPI protocol, has much larger capacity than what i needed.

My microcontroller is operating at minimum frequency of 50MHz (clk = 20ns), hence I hope to find something which has comparable speed (if possible).

Thx in advance...
