Plz help to know the role of fpga in a UPS card or in a inverter....
how these devices can be helpfull in this kind of apllications.

There is no specific role for FPGA in UPS,
I mean every place that you need logic, you can use CPLD or FPGA. So you may find UPS with FPGA and other without it. It is designer choice to implement required logic of UPS control circuit in FPGA or other devices.

Thnx for ANS.
Every time when we require a logic we can use a controller as well....
how can we differentiate this appliation, to use a controller or a PLd.
