Unknown Inductor

Hello,
I have an unknown inductor can anyone tell me how to find its inductance and number of turn

Re: Unknown Inductor

apply volatge with known frequency. Now measure the impedence across it.
use formula

impedence=1/2*pi*frequency*inductance

If you can unwind it, you may count the turns practically. For getting the inductance, any LC meter will reda it within a second. Simple! Good luck.
