1.connect a 1.5V supply in series with the input (or)
2. shift the ground by using a 9V supply instead of ground in the resistor connected to the inverting input side.....
viks , if you don't mind transients - decouple AC by capacitor , or in other case do as Anand suggested.
If 3V bias is sweeping , you will additional DC compensation circuit.
if u would use a diode and cap then we would need a suitable supply to compensate the effect of diode drop and the temperature variation of the diodes parameters.......
