Understanding the phenomena triangle wave using event vs interrupts

Hello,Using timer interrupt code shown bellow i have created the stepped waveform as shown in photo 3.
Then using CUBEX and a manual they set DAC with timer trigger event.
unlinke interrupt Event always occurs at specific point of time.
I cant understand why with trigger time event we got the dac steps infinitsimal small?
almost purfect slope line.as if the Dac increased by super small amout every super small delat time.
How it happened?

Assuming you are using timer in both cases the interrupt rate has changed.

Has the timer clock changed ? Or its period settings ? Is interrupt priority different
between the two setups ?
