understanding plane wave

Hallo,

well, the plane wave is known as the easiest solution of the maxwell equations
for the dielectric space.
Any wave propagation is based on the fact, that a time varying electric field produces a time varying magnetic field (through displacement current) and the time varying magnetic fild induces a time varying electric field.

I cant find this idea in the plane wave situation, where E is orthogonal to H and there are no components in propagation direction.

Could anybody please give me some explanation, how this mutual changement
can be understand with plane wave propagation.

Thanks.

Re: understanding plane wave

Plane wave means you've E & H component orthogonal to each other and both components are propgating in space in the prpgation direction with certain propgation phase , and E , H components are varying by time and space
