Hi All,

I have a few question in the Physical design, Please some help me to get clarity in it.

1.What are the variation will cause of change in the unceratainty from preCTS, CTS, postCTS and Routed. ( As i mean after CTS we will remove skew uncertainty but we will maintain the Impact of SI uncertainty some margin like in design point of view).

2. What is the advantage of different RC Corners . Even though for ex. if i have 10 RC corners we will be considering few corners only as active few will be as inactive. How it will be decided these are active some are inactive.

3. How It can be decided the maximum transition value as in the design we may have longer nets and smaller nets. transition will be vary accordingly. As max trans has decided it may not exceed that value. But How it can be handled during these stage.

4.Usually we will be having different types of libraries lvt,hvt,rvt,...etc , but in the design we will consider some cells as bad cells because of what parameters ...? where we can observe these parameter variations.

Please some help to get clear idea On this.

Thanks,
raj
