Hi,

I am using an op map with dual balanced supply. But for a small sinusoidal signal, the output is unbalanced, ie. for a 20 mv p-p signal the output swings between +2v and -3v. Also, when there is no input signal, there is a negitive spike of 3 v at the output. The gain is 147; non inverting (147k/1k). Pls advice.

Thanks,
Pragati.

OPAMP part number?
Supply voltage?
Circuit diagram?

Op amp : OP 07C
supply : +/- 5v

The circuit is basically a transducer (generating millivolt o/p) --> op amp buffer--> op amp amplifier (non inverting).

This is same problem as in my previous post. I was able to isolate the problem (atleast that is what I think). will update it in other post also.

Thanks,
Pragati
