hi everybody

when I run an embedded matlab simulink file by 2012a matlab(64 bit) version the following error appears:(64bit 7.OS)

"Unable to locate a C-compiler required by Stateflow and MATLAB Function blocks. Use 'mex -setup' to select a supported C-compiler."

exactly what should I do to solve this?

I'll be thankful if you kindly help me.

You should have external support of the C-Complier besides being everything ? this Version is not suitable try 2011b .. that is great instead of 2012a or try 2012b.

thank you mushahid your right but how can I have external support of C -compiler in order to use the 2012a version of matlab?
