H3llo guys..!
can any one help me out in interfacing LM35 Temperature sensor
with ADC0808 IC....
Plz give me any circuit diagram...!
Thanks

hi
u can use ADC 0804 instead of 0808 as 0804 is simpler ,also following link might be useful for u.as it is about interfacing 0804 with controller . https://www.freewebs.com/maheshwankhede/adcdac.html
As far as lm35 is concerned,it give 10mv output for single degree rise in temperautre,e.g if at 1 degree it gives 10mv,at 2 it will give 20mv,simply connect lm35 output to 0804 input,optionally u can use unity follower buffer between 0804 and sensor,u can calculate analog voltage by usig simple formula
Vanalog=ADC value*StepSize
for 8 bit resolution StepSize=vref/256
Shakeel
shakeel is right, the output of LM35 is 10mv per degree centigrade, and if the Ref+ of ADC 0808 is 5v then the step size of the ADC is approximately 20mv, so basically you wont be able to detect change of one degree centigrade, for this set the Ref+ of ADC 0808 to 2.56volts that way you will be able to detect even 1 degree C change in temperature
Connect LM35 directly to IN0 to IN7 of the ADC, check this link for more info
na it wont work without the clock, you will have to give clock pulses for which you can use LM555 in astable mode or you can give those pulses through the controller itself, if you check out the link that i have given over there i have connected the clock to P2.5 & given those pulses through controller itself thus reducing the circuit
