i need to design an ultrasonic sensor using the transmitter and receiver working at 40Khz . can anyone provide me a circuit to design it and interface the receiver with PIC16F877A to measure the output.

Search for HC-SR04 and go through it. It is an ultrasonic transciever module.
 

i have USonic module already. but i cannot use modules in my project. So i need to develop a circuit for transmitter and receiver from scratch.
