wideband power amplifier design

have any body idea for ultra wideband high power amplifier design?
for 20-500 MHz, 500-1GHz , 1-2 GHz their topologies and Transistors?order of power is 50-100W

mrf6vp2600h

Amplifier Research is the world leader building wideband and high power amplifiers.

While ago I’ve checked one of their schematic of a wideband microwave power amplifier, and I can say there was a complete industry, using a lot of feedback stages and adaptive biases to maintain linearity over frequency, output power, temperature, VSWR, etc. Definitely is not an easy job.

BONN Elektronik is another high power amplifier vendor.

How about as DIY ..
somebody have schematics or ducuments?
links?

elektronik power amp

for this kind 20-500 MHz, 500-1GHz applications, you can try to use MRF6VP2600H, MRF6VP3450H. In MRF6VP3450H's datasheet, there is a circurt used for UHF, you can modify it to reach 500 to 1ghz application. You see, the power you want is not much high. We can use high power transistor to sacrifise some power to reach wide band.

thanks Vfone;
but there is any shematic of this designs?
