Hello Everyone;
I want to use an amplifier in the UHF band (around 700MHz) with about 100MHz bandwidth. It should be with low IM3 distortions. I have used GALI-51 from minicircuits, but it seems to have IM3 distortions. Is there any aternative for GALI-51 gain block? If I want to design a transistor amplifier, what is the best transistor? What is the best design approach? Which book may help me?

is it a PA , or just a gain block for small signal

and what is the max output power and what is the gain

It's a gain block for small signal (not PA) and max output power is about 5-10 dBm.

check the GaAs fet on avagotech web site , and also some BJT they have u will find a very good transistors there

Dear No One,
Nothing is free from IP3, but you have not specified your IP3 requirements.
While GALI-51's IP3 is about 35dBm, you might want to check WJ's
AH215 (IP3 46dBm) or AH312 (IP3 49dBm).
These consume a lot of power.
