UART - I2C Bridging

Hello everybody,

I've got a problem in my electronic system project. I use three I/O expender which is connected using I2C to microcontroller. Before doing coding for the microcontroller , I wish to test the I/O functionality directly from PC/UART/COM Port to I2C neglecting uController. I'd already found NXP SC18IM700. Do anybody got another solution. Your reply is highly appreciated... Thx
