typical connection-ir2110

Hello all,

we're using the ir2110 and we have a question about it's connection. Attaching the datasheet: as you can see in the figure in page 1, there is a capacitor between Vcc and COM (legs 2 and 3). But as can see in figure 2 page 5, leg number 2 is at the ground. Does anybody knows if that capacitor is necessary? and if so, what it's typycal value?

Hola, la figura 2 de la pagina 5 no es una conexion tipica. El capacitor si es importante y sirve para proporcionar una rapida corriente para cargar y decargar las capacidades parasitas del mosfet de abajo.
Si no lo pones aumentas el tiempo de conmutacion del lado de abajo.
un valor tipico seria el mismo valor que el capacitor de bootstrap.
