first tube amp, 6AR5/12AV6 single ended

talk about nostalgia...

later moded & replace power tube with a 6F6G, OPT with a modern Z11 cores by AT Alpha Technologies



another single ended using 13FM7 triode


oldschool point to point

when working with tubes be aware of the B+ (and the consequences8-O)



a hybrid project, gutting out a sakura SS amp, replace with an LM3886T with a 6N23P Russian tubes in a cathode follower configuration

what stops me from making tube amps everyday, is the cost of opt transformers! its a pitty to buy the kt88 for $30 and the opt to cost $150

even considering the tube as consumable , the opt is still expensive
