Trying to use Ghetto Blaster for TV speakers, help please!!

I have an old MD/CD/FM Sharp ghetto blaster MD-F1.

I want to connect my TV through it, as the TV speakers are really poor, but there is no aux in on the Sharp unit.

So I had the wise idea of opening it up, finding the stereo feed to the internal amp, and connecting a cable there, which will lead to a mini jack outside the unit, that I can plug into a headphone socket on TV/ipod etc.

Opened it up, botched up a few times, and finally gave up.

I've got the unit back to it's original state.

Can anyone tell me where i can connect the cable up, inside the unit?

I'm using a mini jack to mini jack cabe, and I've chopped off one end, to connect the left & right signal somewhere inside the Sharp unit.

I've attached a few pictures, if they help to make any sense.

The front control panel and speakers disconnect from the main unit when it's taken apart.

I suggest you to find somebody who knows radios and electronics to help you.

When we dont have schematics,
this connection can made to signal side of volume potentiometer
( IF audio level is controlled with pot. ,
not with dc-control in amplifier ic )

Or try to find PA inputs in circuit board.

There must connect selector switch for new and old signal wires
series resistors and capacitors for protect amplifier input stage.

If you can show us schematics , there is no problem to tell how it can be done

Volume is controlled digitally, so not pot.

Unfortunately, it's a pretty old model, so I can't get hold of the schematics from the net.

It's a bit of a big job to get the main parts disconnected (CD player, MD player), so I can get to the circuit board, but I'll have a go, and let you know if I manage it.

Nothing you've shown looks like the audio amp.
Trace the wires back from the speakers, they'll go to a chip with a heatsink on it, thats the power amp, do a google for the chip, you'll find where the audio in goes, you just might need to add a a volume control pot.
