Transmitting music on CAN BUS

CAN BUS APPLICATION

have someone ever tried to transmit music (digital format, of course - 16kHZmax) on CAN BUS?

Is it possible to reach a receiver in a 500m range?

Are there some hardware available to interface a musical source to CAN bus and finally to "digital stuffed loudspeakers" ?
 

CAN BUS APPLICATION

The can bus transmits packets of data with a can id, a data length and up to 8 bytes of data. The packet has to be acked. Max baud rate 1Meg. I think you would be pushed for bandwidth.
