transmitter 8 watt ;1dB compression point 42dBm
and SSPA (power amplifier) 20W:1dB compression point 43 dBm

what will be my Tx power in link budget analyses
will it be 42dBm
or 42+43dBm

For link budget you have to use 39dBm and 43dBm

you mean i only use the output power of SSPA
So i must choose my transmitter and SSPA in order to not permit transmitter to distort the SSPA. Will be my transmitter output limited by SSPA input.

i.e my SSPA output is 43dBm and max input range is 10dBm
So there is no way to increase the 43dBm my final ouput signal from TX will be 43dBm(without antenna)
