hi there

If i use the S2P files in ADS to simulate a transistor not in the library. Does the parameters take the lead inductances of the device into account? Or do I need to actually put that in the circuit when i simulate it?

Thank you

Spook

Usually the discrete microwave transistors have the lead inductances taken into account for S-parameters. In general the manufacturers specify when the terminals are not part of S-parameters and they specify the inductance of the terminals.
