Hello,

Here's one more component looking to identity:

H E5742.jpg

Motorola Transistor:

Numbers: E5742 940

Should I assume this is the same as this?

MJE5742

https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/4863/MOTOROLA/MJE5742.html

Thanks again for all the help! Greatly appreciated..

Ken

HI include, thanks for the reply.

Well that's a good question, it's part of a cold corona ozone generating device.. I just figured it was a voltage regulator transistor? Maybe the folks at Motorola can tell me for sure... hmm.. Attempting to draw up the circuit for a similar design to be submitted to professional circuit designer..

Thanks, Ken

My goodness google sure is quick with indexing these days! I googled the number again and first thing that comes up in the search is a link to this thread! lol.. Only been a couple of hours.. wow..
