I use an RFID reader for reading FDX tags. It utilizes ASK modulation so I designed a transformer power supply with LDO linear regulator but somewhere it doesn't work good and read range decreased. I think it's due to poor voltage quality because there are several motors , ... nearby. I utilized an EMI filter in series with P and N. but it still has a short read range.
anybody have a solution to this problem?
I dont think it is power supply problems
You cross check the power supply, check any voltage drope while reading, try with proper rectifier circuit and capacitor filter (Electrolytic and ceramic capacitors)
All are ok then no problems with power supply
